Karaage (Japanese Fried Chicken)

What is Karaage?

Karaage is Japanese style fried chicken which is an all time favorite meal for everyone in Japan. It’s very juicy inside but still crunchy on the outside. It’s one of the best courses to match up with rice. Our Karaage received an award on a food festival in the summer of 2020.

How to make Karaage

  1. Marinate bite-sized chickens in soy sauce, garlic, ginger and our signature sauces.
  2. Coat the chickens
  3. Heat some oil to around 160 or 170 °C
  4. Cook the chicken for some time
  5. Drain them of oil for a few minutes.
  6. Reheat the oil to 180 °C, and fry them again until they become crisp
